Snow Day!
Sunday was Snow Day at church. Sledding and snow ball fighting is always interesting when you get 100 plus kids/ adults together of varying ages. Katelyn enjoyed sledding and even took Nicholas for a run and Blake spent his time making snowballs and throwing them at Travis and the adults! It was a nice, warm, snow day... in Yorba Linda, Calif!

Updates... Finally!
I know, I know... major slacking in the blogging department. Of course this is the busiest time of the year so I can't make any guarantees that I am going to keep up! Sorry! :) I have back-dated some of the highlights of October and the first half of November (because that is how anal I am and I want things to appear in order... yes, I know... lame!)
At any rate, I hope you are all having a HAPPY Tuesday!! Scroll down to check out what we (i.e the kids!) have been up too!
Oh and of course, no post is complete without a photo...so you get three...

Baby Shower - Annie
On Saturday I hosted a baby shower for Steve's cousin Annie. She is expecting her second child-- a baby boy on December 25! We played some really fun games, enjoyed some yummy cupcakes, made the baby some adorable onesies with iron-on designs, watched her open some adorable gifts and had a great time showering her with our best wishes. We can't wait to meet her sweet little bundle next month!
Congratulations Annie, Heath and Tyler!!

Katelyn Meets Belle
Katelyn and Blake were invited to Ella's birthday party and guess who was their to celebrate with Ella and all the kids... Belle from Disney's Beauty and the Beast! She read stories to the kids, played games, helped do the pinata, helped cut the cake, sang and danced and posed for pictures. (Which Blake wanted nothing to do with!) But miss Katelyn was in heaven and had fun meeting a princess!
Happy 5th Birthday Ella!

Griffith Park Train Museum
The kids and I headed to Los Angeles one day to see the train parks up at Griffith Park. You can check them out here. It was such a nice day and we had lots of fun riding miniature trains, having a picnic lunch and seeing all the big trains at the train museum park. Definitely a fun place to go visit if you have little ones (or big ones) who are interested in trains.

Go Speed Racer
My sister-in-law, Courtney gave my brother Scott some laps to drive a NASCAR Sprint Cup race car out at Auto Club (Fontana) Speedway for their first anniversary. (My dad did this a few years back too.) The kids and I ventured out to the Speedway to watch Scott and his race car driving skills this past Sunday. Let's just say he knew what he was doing and had no problem putting the pedal to the metal! Hope you had a great experience Scott!
Scott off to class.
(They make all drivers take a class before they get in the cars.)
Dad, Blake and Travis waiting while Scott is in class.
Handsome Travis!

He made it back safely after completing 16 laps.

Back to School
Today was the kids first day back at preschool. They started at BUMPS back when they were 18 months-old in a Mommy and Me class and here we are three years later-- in the 4-year-old class and their last year of preschool before they start Kindergarten! *sniff, sniff* This year they go Monday, Wednesday and Friday's and their teacher is Mrs. Perkins.
Both were very excited to get to school this morning and happy to have both mom and dad drop them off! They were excited to see some of their friends from last year and walked into the new classroom like it was no big deal. They are growing up so fast and I can't believe what big kids they have become!
Enough rambling... here are some pictures from this morning. :)

100th Blog Post
This is our 100th blog post! Whoo hoo!! When I decided to start this blog last year, I thought this would be a good way to record and journal about our life. It's amazing how fast time flies because I feel like I just started and can't believe I have really come up with 100 different blog entries! (I guess having kids makes it pretty easy! lol)
At any rate, thanks to all my loyal readers. I hope you enjoy reading and seeing the blog posts as much as I like creating and writing them.
And since no post is complete without a picture, (and there are so few pictures of the hubby and I...) here is one for you all to enjoy! :) Happy blog reading!
