Picture Friday: Our Bronco Fans!

So our team didn't make it to the "Big Game" this coming Sunday (they actually choked at the end of their season!) but what is a fan to do? At least our kids look cute. So this picture is a blast from the past of our little Bronco fans!

Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Happy 4th Birthday Katelyn!

Dear Katelyn,

You are four today. I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around that idea and wondering how you have gone from this:
To this?
As I sit here trying to compose this post I'm amazed at how quickly the time has flown. I know everyone says it, but it's the truth. You are so special and loved by so many people. You leave a handprint on the hearts of everyone you meet.

I remember so vividly holding you for the first time. You were so alert and the most beautiful baby girl. (You were a mini version of ME!) The past four years have been an adventure with so many ups. You've turned mine and Daddy's lives upside down along with that cute twin brother of yours. You have us wrapped around those tiny finger of yours, and boy do you know it. Our world would be lost without your little personality in it.

Each day continues to be an adventure and you never cease to amaze us. You are beautiful, independent, smart, compassionate, funny, caring, motherly and such a wonderful daughter to have. Your smile has brightened our world since the day you were born. You are our pride and joy. One of our greatest achievements. You hold your Mommy and Daddy's hearts on a string and we love you more than words could ever express. You will always be, our "little princess", no matter how old you get.

Here's to another year of great achievements. We are so blessed to have you in our life. We feel so proud to be your parents.

Happy 4th Birthday Katelyn!

Love always,
Mommy and Daddy

Happy 4th Birthday Blake!

Our little Bubba,

It's your birthday and you are FOUR today!! Wow! Where have the last four years gone? Is it really true that you have gone from this:

To this?!

As I sit here trying to compose this post I am amazed at how fast time has flown by. I know everyone says it, but it's true. You are so special and loved by so many people. You have a way of melting the hearts of everyone you meet and have done so since the day you were born.

I remember holding you for the first time. You had this perfect round head with fuzzy hair and looked very much like your Daddy. You were so handsome and I could not believe that you were ours. The past four years have been an adventure with so many ups. You've turned mine and Daddy's world upside down along with that cute twin sister of yours. How did we get so lucky to be blessed with two of the most precious gifts from above? You have us wrapped around your fingers and our world would be lost without your little personality in it.

Each day continues to be an adventure and you never cease to amaze us. You are such a handsome little boy and have a smile that lights up any room you enter and a twinkle in your eye that melts our hearts. You are smart, our thinker (our little engineer!), our cuddler, our fighter and most of all our sweet little boy. You are our pride and joy. One of our greatest achievements. We love you more than words could ever express and you will always be our "bubba," no matter how old you get. (Sorry, buts that's just how it is!)

Here's to another year of great achievements. We are so blessed to have you in our life. We feel so proud to be your parents.

Happy 4th Birthday Blake!
Love always,
Mommy and Daddy

Party, Party, Party, Party!

On Saturday we celebrated the kids 4th birthday with a family party! I still can't believe they are almost 4! Holy cow! :)

The weather was not so great, but what do you expect for January birthdays?! We had good food, some yummy cake, a pinata full of C-A-N-D-Y, a bounce house to jump and jump and jump in and two happy kids! What could be more fun?!

Baby Shower - Courtney

On December 27th a group of us hosted my sister-in-law Courtney's baby shower. It was fun to shower her with gifts and love for the upcoming arrival of her and Scott's new little princess. Everything she received was just so cute and pink!

All the wonderful PINK presents!
Katelyn helping Courtney open presents.

Fast forward to Wednesday, December 31st and the little princess we thought she was expecting is actually a BOY!?! To say they and the rest of us are/were shocked is an understatement!! They went in for a 3D ultrasound and the technician broke the news. Apparently the ultrasound tech at her OB's office was not correct!!

Congrats again Courtney and Scott!

Rose Parade Floats

The kids and I went to Pasadena to view the floats from the Rose Parade with my mom, Jerry and Jacob today. (Steve was at a baseball coaches convention in San Diego) I think a million other southern Californians also had the same idea as it was very crowded!

But I have to say seeing the floats up close just makes you stand there in "awe." It really is truly amazing how they put them together and just how many flowers are really on them. The kids did great and seemed to enjoy looking at them as well. Of course, the kettle corn and churros were a hit too! :)

Thanks for let us tag along with you mom, Jerry and Jacob!

The Wizard of Oz float.
The bulldog float for Daddy!
Look how pretty these flowers were!
This is what we navigated through! Didn't seem that bad, but when we worked our way up the street and looked back it was truly amazing to think we just walked through all those people!!
