Picture(s) Friday: Cousins

Katelyn and Blake got to meet their new cousin Nicholas last Friday night. The little miss was smitten and Blake wanted to know if he could talk?! "No Blake, not yet. . ." At any rate, I was able to snap this cute picture of all of them together, plus new big brother Travis.

Katelyn is a natural when it comes to babies and just wanted to hold him and keep holding him! Hmmm... I wonder who she takes after? ;)

I couldn't pass up posting this picture either. Travis is going to be an awesome big brother! He's a natural already!

And of course the little guy that enabled us to title this post "cousins." Is he not the cutest, sweetest baby?

Welcome Nicholas!

I AM OFFICIALLY AN AUNT!! (Can you tell I am excited?!)

Courtney and Scott have welcomed the newest addition to their family! Nicholas Jon Patrick Davis made his entrance into the world today February 12, 2009 at 5:41 a.m. He weighed 7lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 and 1/2 inches long. He is healthy and perfect. I got to spend a few hours with him this morning and he is just as cute as can be. The new mommy is recovering well too. We are just thrilled to welcome him to our family.

Sign of the Times

Is it a good or bad sign of parenting when you are driving in the car with your two 4-year-olds and the song "Hit Me with your Best Shot" by Pat Benatar comes on the radio and both of your kids scream, "Mom, this is the song from Guitar Hero!!"

Nice! Such a proud moment for a mom! At least they are being exposed to music, right?!

On Saturday I had the kids Valentine's pictures done with my new favorite photographer, Shannon Lott. Like the previous session, she once again did a great job.
