Welcome Peyton!

We have a niece! Jason and Janelle welcomed a baby girl on Saturday, June 20. Oh my goodness, she is the most precious, adorable, beautiful little angel I have seen. I had the pleasure of holding her today and couldn't take my eyes off of her. She is gorgeous.

Katelyn and Blake are anxiously waiting to meet their new "girl cousin!"

Congratulations Jason and Janelle! If you ever need a babysitter (wink, wink) let us know!

Picture Friday: Chipper Update

Our little Chipper is now 4 months-old. He has grown so much over the last month and really doesn't even look like a puppy anymore. He is still a really sweet, mellow dog and has totally become a member of our family. He even likes to hang out in the kids playhouse!

Catching Up... Part 2

Last Thursday my baby brother graduated from 8th grade. He will be attending Orange Lutheran in the fall and I just can't believe he is in high school. I can distinctly remember hearing my name called over the loud speaker telling me to come to the office the day he was born... when I was in high school... 16 years ago! So crazy how time has just flown by.

On Sunday we had a busy day. In the morning baby Nicholas was blessed at his church. It was a lovely service and he looked so cute in his little white outfit. I still can't believe he is 4-months-old almost. He is growing up way too fast.

Later in the afternoon Jerry had planned a surprise party for my mom's "big" birthday. We did it at Watson's (50s Soda Fountain restaurant) to possibly tie-in with the certain number that she was turning... wink, wink! :) I thought for sure she knew about it, but I think she was actually surprised! 40 plus of her nearest and dearest had gathered to celebrate. It was a lot of fun!

Catching Up...

I am so behind on my blogging and this post is long over due.... here is a recap of some of the things that have been going on over the last month or so! :)

On May 17, Katelyn and I were invited to Janelle's baby shower. She and my brother-in-law, Jason are expecting a baby girl, little Peyton, at the end of June. The shower was so cute with everything being pink! Janelle looked great and she got so many wonderful gifts. Thanks for inviting us and we can't wait to meet Peyton! :)

On Memorial Day we celebrated by having some friends over for a relaxing afternoon. The kids had a blast playing together and I got my baby fix! :) Thanks Angela and Jeremy for bringing the KFC and thanks Danyel for the yummy chocolate covered strawberries-- they were sooo good!

On May 29, the kids and I went to Disneyland with Danyel and Tyler (little boy from above). We had so much fun riding all the rides. The park wasn't too crowded and the kids did so well, that we ended up staying until almost 11 p.m.! It was so much fun and we must do it again soon!
