Rose Parade Floats

The kids and I went to Pasadena to view the floats from the Rose Parade with my mom, Jerry and Jacob today. (Steve was at a baseball coaches convention in San Diego) I think a million other southern Californians also had the same idea as it was very crowded!

But I have to say seeing the floats up close just makes you stand there in "awe." It really is truly amazing how they put them together and just how many flowers are really on them. The kids did great and seemed to enjoy looking at them as well. Of course, the kettle corn and churros were a hit too! :)

This is what we navigated through! Didn't seem that bad, but when we worked our way up the street and looked back it was truly amazing to think we just walked through all those people!!
