Steve has also held up to his end of the bargain so far and keeps our backyard poop free, gets up with the dog when he needs to be let out, has followed my request that the dog is not to come in the house (at least I think he has!) and pretty much takes care of him.
The kids are still thrilled with him. They love to go outside at 7:30 in the morning to see him and are outside with him until it's dark in the evenings. Katelyn likes to take him for walks and Blake enjoys playing with him, though I think he is having some type of power trip that he is "bigger" than Chipper. He is always trying to pick him up and carry him! I am sure some days Chipper wants to hide from Blake. lol
Chipper is growing on me. I think we have started to bond. In the mornings before I go on my walk or do my exercise video I let him out of his crate. It is actually cute to see him get all excited to see me... or wait... is he only excited because he needs to go to the bathroom? ;)

Chipper is very cute. Loved it when Steve brought him in the car Thurs when he came to get Katelyn & Blake. Next time-plan to stay and let Kasey & Chipper play together. According to K & B Chipper can't come in the house because Mommy says "No dogs in the house." So, they are either very well "trained" to say that or it really does happen (of course they used to say that Mommy won't let Daddy have a golden retriever puppy)! Katelyn & Blake talk about Chipper all the time! They are really enjoying him. Glad to hear it's working out so far.
