Date Night

Last night Steve took Katelyn to the Angel game for some daddy-daughter time and Blake and I had a date! I asked him where he wanted to go and he immediately got that twinkle in his eye and said, "Mommy! Lets go to the train station!" So off we went.

We got to the train station and walked a bit and watched the trains come and go. We climbed the stairs to the top of the bridge to see the beautiful view and waited for more trains. I love seeing him get so excited when they enter into the station.

After awhile of watching trains come in and go out of the station the two of us headed over to Spaghetti Factory for dinner. One booth, both of us on one side. He informed the waitress he was having a "date with mommy!" It was so much fun.

Thanks for going on a date with me Blake! :)

I can not believe they are old enough to have date night with Mom & Dad. They are growing up too fast. Blake told me today he doesn't want to get any bigger-so I told him I was going to put a brick on his head so he would stop growing-he said Grammie that would be heavy on my head! Way too cute!

Oh, I love this! I always treasure my one-on-one dates with my girls. I think they love it just as much too.
